Daniel and I got married on March 8, 2015 after two years of dating. Our engagement was super fast for numerous reasons and the budget was tight. This picture wasn’t taken on our wedding day, but a year later. Our wedding day was pretty ridiculous, but it was the best and I wouldn’t change a thing. I always say that if it’s going to happen then it’s going to happen to me, and well, it did. I woke up with a sinus infection (thank God for teledoc!). It poured down rain. A bird got into the reception area and was *blessing* everything. My wedding cake fell over on the way to the church and had to be completely reconstructed (it was still delicious). A lady from my church found out that her husband had unexpectedly passed away and started wailing during the reception, and finally, a couple of our closest friends were 10 minutes late and missed the whole thing. (I think one saw the kiss). In case you were wondering, our wedding only lasted 8 minutes. We literally said our vows, prayed, and were done. It was perfect, especially since I didn’t get the elopement that I wanted. Haha! We spent three days in downtown Houston for our honeymoon and had a great time. We discovered that we both loved seafood and had it for just about every meal (seafood and tacos). We also spent a whole day at the Museum of Natural History. What a better way to start your lives together than food and learning?!
